DRAFT Housing Action Plan ready for review
Archuleta County and the Town of Pagosa Springs have been working together with our consultants, ECO Northwest and Western Spaces, for the last 12 months to create a new Housing Action Plan (HAP) that will define how our community can address local affordable housing needs.
This plan builds on the recently completed 2025 Housing Needs Assessment and turns that information into real steps we can take to improve housing options for everyone. During the last 12 months the project team conducted a community survey, 4 in-person public open houses, 18 stakeholder interviews, and engaged a strategy workgroup that included 20 representatives from numerous community organizations, all of which informed the contents of the DRAFT HAP.
We have completed a DRAFT Housing Action Plan that will be reviewed with the Town Council and Board of County Commissioners on Monday, August 24th during their joint work session starting at 5pm at the County Administration Offices located at 398 Lewis Street.
Please review the DRAFT Plan and provide any comments you might have in the box below, OR you can email your comments to jsams@pagosasprings.co.gov. Your comments will be reviewed by the project team for potential edits.
